Robbie Chamberlain is a general transfer studies student who eventually plans to study journalism at a four-year university. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, taking photos and learning about the world around him. He’s a 2024 graduate of Ritenour High School in St. Louis County.
BUSINESS MANAGER
Simeon Jones is a student majoring in legal studies. He plans to graduate from a four-year university and work in the legal industry. He also works part time for an animal-control agency. In his free time, he enjoys participating in combat sports, watching football, eating seafood, going to raves and listening to all types of music.
FACULTY ADVISER
Teri Maddox is an adjunct faculty member in communications at Forest Park and a reporter for the Belleville News-Democrat. She’s been working in newspapers for nearly 40 years. She also has served as a publicist, researcher, legislative aide, government teacher and park ranger. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science education and a master’s in public affairs.
ASSISTANT ADVISER
Fred Ortlip joined the Forest Park communications department after a 42-year career with newspapers, including 36 years at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, where he took early retirement in 2015. At the Post, he did stints in news, sports and features, working as a copy editor, video editor, supervisor and occasional writer.
